Barry W. McDaniel*, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Barry McDaniel serves as LS2's Chief Executive Officer and on the Board of Directors. Formerly of Lockheed Martin, EVP InteSec Group, President Stratesec, Inc. Former Senior Executive Service, U.S. Government. Barry has extensive experience in managing all aspects of government and Fortune 500 complex systems integration processes. Management experience includes start ups, CEO of a small cap publicly traded security technology company, and leader of a division for Lockheed Martin. 

Advisory Group

Bruce Bradley*, Managing Partner, Lancaster Partners

Bruce Bradley currently serves as Lead Director on the LS2 Board and heads up all M&A activity.  He is a former Managing Director at UBS and Legg Mason. He was also Founder, Chairman, & CEO of Bradley, Woods & Co. Mr Bradley has over 30 years of corporate finance, strategy, and institutional equity sales and research experience. He has served as chairman/CEO of numerous public and private companies.

Jim Gay*, President, Global Service & Trade (GST)

Jim Gay is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, founder and owner of three national companies, and an expert in the acquisition and distribution of military equipment and gear with distribution to deployed troops around the globe. Mr. Gay serves on the LS2 Board of Directors.

David Pillor*, Outside Director

David Pillor is the former Executive Vice President and Director of Invision Technologies, an aviation security firm which grew from development stage to in excess of $500 million in revenue and sold to GE Security Systems. Mr. Pillor led the domestic and international sales and marketing effort of one of the most successful defense/security companies within a ten year period. Mr. Pillor serves on the LS2 Board of Directors.

Richard J. Gessner, Jr.*, Portfolio Manager, Kalmar Investments

Rick Gessner is a Portfolio Manager with Kalmar Investments. Mr. Gessner received his BA in Economics and History from Franklin & Marshall College, his MA in Political Science from the University of Delaware, and his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Gessner has more than twenty years investment management experience with a specialization in growth small capitalization securities. Mr. Gessner serves on the LS2 Board of Directors.

Barry Raeburn, EVP, Harbin Electric

Barry Raeburn serves as LS2's Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Raeburn was Executive Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development for Harbin Electric. During his tenure at Harbin Electric, he led the company to a successful listing on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange, while providing key leadership in the areas of finance, accounting, investor and public relations, and SEC compliance. Mr. Raeburn has extensive experience in global public equity markets working as a specialty technology analyst an investment bank and at a multi-billion dollar investment advisory firm. Mr. Raeburn currently sits on the board of two publicly listed companies.

Larry Johnson*, Founder and CEO, Berg Associates

Founder and CEO of Berg Associates, a private Washington security consultancy, Larry Johnson is well known and respected by the leading US and international defense/security decision makers. He is a former CIA officer and State Department official. Mr. Johnson is an author, frequent guest expert on MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CNN, Fox, CBS, and advisor to DOD on sensitive military planning and exercises. Mr. Johnson serves on the LS2 Board of Directors.

Jeb Brown, Founder Earle Palmer Brown

As majority owner, Jeb Brown built Earle Palmer Brown from $3 million in billings to $1 billion. Mr. Brown has acquired, integrated and managed over 50 companies into Earle Palmer Brown.

Dennis Hanlon, CEO of DRH International

Dennis Hanlon serves as CEO of DRH International, Inc., a technology, marketing and management consultancy. He was the former President of M&T Harshaw, a leading specialty chemical and equipment company with $250 million in revenues - Sold to Elf Atochem NA and Engelhard. Mr. Hanlon has strong, innovative domestic and international sales, marketing and technology/business development skills.

Mike Herson, Founder and President of American Defense International

Mike Herson is founder and President of American Defense International, a leading D.C. advisory and lobbying firm with over 100 clients in the defense/Homeland Security arena. Mr. Herson and his firm are involved in the daily congressional-administration security/defense, contract and awards process.

Pat McCann, Founder and owner of McCann Capital Advocates

Pat McCann is founder and owner of McCann Capital Advocates, a Washington lobbying and advisory firm with extensive defense related experience. Mr. McCann was the senior staff director of the Senate Appropriations Committee. He and his firm are intimately involved in the defense/security Administration and Congressional appropriations process.

Ronald Riggin, LS2 Senior Technology Advisor

Ronald Riggin has over 25 years of technical and operational experience in product development, technology consulting, and operations analysis. As VP BDM (now Northrop Grumman), he led numerous large-scale high technology systems integration programs.  He is also a recognized logistics expert having served as the CTO for many leading supply chain product companies.
